Julianna Vinci i Bartłomiej Fraś
Julianna Vinci and Bartłomiej Fraś have regularly performed together in various chamber ensembles since 2018. They both study at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. Julianna Vinci attends the cello class of Natalia Kurzac-Kotula, Ph.D., whereas Bartłomiej Fraś attends the violin class of Professor Szymon Krzeszowiec. They started working as a duet in 2020. They have an extensive repertoire, from Baroque pieces to modern music. They have won the most important awards at many competitions in Poland and abroad, for example in London, Salzburg and Athens. They have honed their skills related to solo parts and chamber music under the supervision of outstanding teachers, such as Zakhar Bron, Pinchas Zukerman, Gidon Kremer, Amanda Forsyth, Alexander Gebert, Danjulo Ishizaka, Maria Szwajger-Kułakowska, Marek Moś, Paweł Głombik, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka and Martyna Pastuszka. Bartłomiej Fraś has received two scholarships awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (in 2016 and 2020) and a scholarship in the Young Poland programme. Julianna Vinci has received a scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2021.
